    Power Box & Terminal Cover

The left power box supplies power to the lighting busbar through cables, while the right power box transmits power from the lighting busbar to other circuits or receives power from cables on the right side. Both units are mounted at the ends of vertical components, secured with spring bolts, and feature 10 mm wire terminals with sealed covers.

    Vertical Applications

Installed vertically, the same systems can be used for rising-mains applications, with tap-offs feeding individual floors. Certified fire barriers are available at points where the busbar passes through a floor slab. Protection devices such as fuses, switch fuses, or circuit breakers are located along the busbar run, reducing the need for large distribution boards and the large quantities of distribution cables running to and from installed equipment.

    Vertical Applications

    System Characteristics

    • All branch circuit connectors are single-phase: L+N+PE.
    • It can be plugged in safely when there is active electricity and load.
    • The live wire L and neutral wire N contacts are clamp-type, ensuring no mechanical stress on the plug's plastic base.
    • Equipped with a specialized device to prevent wrong insertion and prevent incorrect connection.
    • The PE protective conductor must be connected before the phase and neutral lines, contacting the inner surface of the busbar's straight component housing.
    • High-standard flame retardancy and insulation performance of the plug, socket housing, and internal insulation parts.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What current ratings are available for these rigid conductors?

The rigid conductors are available in standard current ratings of 16 A, 25 A, and 63 A to support various lighting and low-power application loads.

Can the branch circuit plugs be inserted while the system is live?

Yes, the system is designed to allow safe plug-in and branch connection even when there is active electricity and load on the busbar.

How does the system prevent incorrect phase connection or wrong insertion?

The busbar system is equipped with a dedicated mechanical keying/prevention device that physically prevents wrong insertion and incorrect polarity alignment.

What safety sequence does the grounding (PE) wire follow during plug insertion?

For enhanced safety, the PE protective conductor is engineered to make contact with the inner surface of the busbar's straight housing component before the phase and neutral lines connect.

Can this lighting busbar system be installed vertically?

Yes, the system is suitable for vertical installations, such as rising-mains applications feeding individual floors. Certified fire barriers are available for floor-slab penetrations.
