Explore SpecificationsVietnam is experiencing an unprecedented industrial boom. Driven by global supply chain diversification, key economic zones in Northern Vietnam (such as Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, and Hanoi) and Southern Vietnam (including Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Ho Chi Minh City) have transformed into global manufacturing hubs. High-tech electronics plants, semiconductor facilities, and automotive assembly lines require high-density, highly reliable power distribution networks. Traditional heavy cable systems are rapidly being phased out in favor of compact sandwich busway systems due to their space efficiency, modular expansion capabilities, and superior safety profiles.
At the center of this transition lies the critical need for robust installation hardware. Busbar hangers and support systems are the silent backbones of these electrical grids. They secure massive, high-amperage busway runs to structural beams, concrete slabs, and steel frames. In a country like Vietnam—characterized by tropical humidity, high temperatures, and coastal saline exposure—the engineering requirements for busway supports are uniquely demanding. Hangers must not only bear massive physical loads but also accommodate thermal expansion, mitigate seismic vibrations, and resist corrosion over decades of operation.
Specially engineered spring hangers and rigid bracing systems designed to withstand micro-vibrations in industrial zones and seismic shifts in high-rise structures.
Hot-dip galvanized (HDG), epoxy-coated, and stainless steel finishes engineered to withstand Vietnam’s high-humidity and coastal salty environments.
Integrated sliding guides and spring mounts that absorb the expansion and contraction of copper and aluminum conductors under heavy load cycles.
Designing power distribution systems for Vietnam demands a deep understanding of local environmental and structural conditions:
Electrical busbar systems (sometimes simply referred to as busbar systems) are a modular approach to electrical wiring, where instead of a standard cable wiring to every single electrical device, the devices are mounted onto an adapter which is directly fitted to a current carrying busbar. This modular approach is used in distribution boards, automation panels and other installations in electrical enclosures.

Renyun (Hunan) Busbar Co., Ltd. was established in 2008 and is a technology-driven enterprise specializing in the field of power transmission and distribution. The company is committed to the research and development, production, sales, and service of busbars aiming to create a world-class brand.
At present, we have a large production workshop of 50,000 square meters and eight automated production lines. The company has 12 offices worldwide to ensure comprehensive coverage of products sales and services, actively supporting the rapid development of Vietnam’s industrial sectors.
When engineering the structural support for a busway run in a Vietnamese industrial zone, several mechanical considerations must be calculated to prevent structural failures or electrical joint fatigue:
Horizontal busway runs are typically suspended from the ceiling using threaded rod hangers, trapeze supports, or cantilever wall brackets. The spacing between these hangers must comply with international standards (such as NEMA BU 1.1 or IEC 61439-6), typically not exceeding 1.5 to 2 meters, depending on the weight of the busbar. For vertical runs (risers) passing through floors in high-rise buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, vertical spring hangers must be installed at each floor level. These spring hangers support the vertical weight of the busbar stack while allowing the building to settle and the busbar to expand vertically without putting excessive stress on the electrical joints.
The choice of material for support channels and hangers directly impacts the lifespan of the installation. For indoor cleanrooms in electronics manufacturing plants, pre-galvanized steel or painted supports are often sufficient. However, for heavy chemical plants, water treatment facilities, or coastal factories, hot-dip galvanized (HDG) steel with a coating thickness of at least 450 g/m² is required. For extreme marine or corrosive environments, Stainless Steel (Grade 304 or 316) hangers provide the ultimate protection against rust and chemical degradation.
Modern building codes in Vietnam increasingly mandate seismic design for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installations. In the event of an earthquake or severe industrial vibration, unbraced busbar systems can swing violently, leading to structural collapse or catastrophic electrical short circuits. Seismic bracing systems—including rigid strut braces and aircraft cable restraints—must be integrated into the support design to restrict lateral and longitudinal movement while allowing normal thermal breathing.
To ensure smooth approvals from local authorities and fire departments (Cục Cảnh sát PCCC và CNCH), all busway and support systems should meet international benchmarks adapted to local regulations:
